Al bloeit Tobias door de aanwezigheid van Mees Kees op, Kees merkt dat er iets met Tobias is. Hij heeft nooit brood mee bijvoorbeeld. Dat komt omdat zijn vader dee-oo-oo-dee is en zijn moeder de hele dag in bed ligt. Mees Kees ontfermt zich over Tobias. Hij deelt zijn boterhammen met het heerlijke omeletje van zijn moeder met hem, neemt Tobias mee uit flipperen en laat hem gezellig ‘nablijven’. De strenge directrice Dreus (Sanne Wallis de Vries) vindt het maar niets…
