Kun Tronstad kuulee saksalaisten ostaneen raskasta vettä, hänen epäluulonsa heräävät ja hän päättää ottaa yhteyttä brittien tiedustelupalveluun. Yhdessä heidän on pysäytettävä saksalaiset. Tronstad kokoaa Grouse-nimisen ryhmän, joka saa tehtäväkseen sabotoida hanke ja brittisotilaiden avustamana räjäyttää Vemorkin laitos.
