Then Came You is a half-hour sitcom that aired on ABC for two months from March 22, 2000 to April 26, 2000. The show dealt with the romantic relationship between a young man and an older woman. It starred Susan Floyd, Thomas Newton, and Desmond Askew. This was not the first time ABC greenlighted a sitcom with this title; Then Came You was also the proposed title for the show that ultimately became the 1980s sitcom Webster. The title of the short-lived ABC TV series was taken from The Spinners 1974 song of the same name.

At Home with the Braithwaites is a British comedy-drama television series, created and written by Sally Wainwright. The storyline follows a suburban family from Leeds, whose life is turned upside down when the mother of the family wins 38 million pounds on the lottery. It was broadcast on ITV, for 26 episodes, from 20 January 2000 to 9 April 2003. At the beginning of the first series, each member of the Braithwaite family has an issue. Alison has to decide what to do with the winnings, and when to tell her family. David is having an affair with Elaine, his secretary at work. Virginia is on the verge of flunking out of university. Sarah has a crush on her drama teacher. Charlotte suspects that her mother may be the mystery lottery winner.

It was made by Central Television, and filmed at their Lenton Lane studios in Nottingham in front of a live studio audience. The majority of location scenes for the series were filmed in various suburbs of Nottingham, including Mapperley and West Bridgford, with other scenes filmed around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Despite winning awards and respectable viewing figures, it was axed by ITV in 2003.

The show starred Jean Smart as Chelsea Stevens, a Martha Stewart-like star of a how-to home show, and Nancy McKeon as her producer, Jane Sokol, a small-town girl new to New York City. Chelsea Stevens was an expert cook, decorator, and party planner who knew much more about thread-count than she did relationships. She was well-meaning at times, but her narcissism usually got in the way of actually understanding anyone else's problems.

A questo punto, per Buffy ricomincia la lotta contro il male, che ha la sua massima concentrazione proprio sotto le fondamenta della scuola, dove si trova la terrificante Bocca dell'Inferno, un portale che sprigionerebbe tutto il male demoniaco sulla Terra e che costituisce l'obiettivo del tanto anziano quanto potente vampiro della zona, chiamato Il Maestro. All'interno della scuola, Buffy stringe una forte amicizia con due compagni, Willow Rosenberg e Xander Harris, tra i pochi a sapere delle doti segrete della Cacciatrice e che l'aiuteranno nell'annientamento del terribile nemico. Di rilievo è anche la controversa relazione che Buffy instaura con Angel, un vampiro maledetto con la sua stessa anima, afflitto infatti dal rimpianto delle numerose torture e uccisioni, perpetrate ai danni delle sue vittime. Fa da sfondo alla serie l'esilarante personalità di Cordelia Chase, la ragazza più popolare del liceo, particolarmente snob e infastidita dallo strano comportamento della compagna Buffy.
